Story

Since 1882, Don Pablo Paz, started San Jose farm, he was the postman of town and had the dream of planting coffee, then Don Maximiliano Paz, Don Pablo’s eldest son, continued with the coffee tradition, he used to take his firstborn Don José Arnold Paz up to the farm.

Today, 137 years and three generations later, there are three brothers who are in charge, still under the supervision of Don José Arnold Paz their father. The farm consists of 494 acres of land, divided into 247 acres of forest, and 47 acres of cultivated coffee; the rest of livestock, six births of water that bathe almost the entire property.

The farm is divided into twelve lots, according to variety, height and cupping profile, coffee is collected with around 15 cutters who have mostly helped in this activity for the past 25 years.
